2008 breeding census:
Results below, by 2-km tetrad, are based on (optimum method) early morning
surveys in April or early May 2008, mainly covering the species recently-known distribution, supplemented by late May/June
2008 coverage of other stretches of coastline (D. McGrath & P.M. Walsh). Coast surveyed at the optimum time were:
Creadan Head (tetrad S70B), Portally to Rathmoylan (X69U), Brownstown Head (X69D/E), Tramore to Annestown (S50Q, X69U/P/I/J),
Ballyvooney to Ballyvoyle (X39T/S/M/J) and Helvick Head (X38E/D).
